Up and coming London-based alt-pop artist, Ella On The Run, has returned with a bigger and better new single called “Cavalry”, which follows on from her impressive debut EP War of Words, which garnered attention from the likes of Clash Music, Huffington Post and BBC Introducing and led her to support Swedish pop star Tove Styrke.
Ella On The Run seems like an artist who understands her sound very well, which she has built up since attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, famous for educating artists such as Quincy Jones, John Mayer and Kiesza. So she is definitely in good company.
Whilst in the USA she began recording under the moniker Ella On The Run, teaming up with LA producer/co-writer Matthew Bang and Swedish producer prodigy Lukasz, in order to deliver cutting edge pop music such as “Cavalry”, which is a captivating pop song with an infectious groove and rhythmic drums that get the blood flowing and oxygen levels up to dance in motion to the track, which is perfect given the fighting nature of the lyrics that explain Ella On The Run’s battle of a strenuous relationship.
With “Cavalry” as her next single due out on 3oth October 2015, Ella is definitely on the run to winner and shows why she has been described as “songstress on the rise” by Candid Magazine and was nominated in the Best Unsigned Female category for the Best of British Awards 2015.
