Much talked about newcomer Bryson Tiller recently claimed the #2 spot on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart with the release of his first LP, TRAPSOUL.
The 14 track album debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and #11 on the Billboard 200 chart. The high chart debut is truly a spectacular feat as the first-week sales of the LP are solely based on Tiller’s exclusive week long release with Apple Music. The digital retailer offered the album one week before its official worldwide release on October 2nd. The Louisville, KY native, who has been called by Rolling Stone, The Fader and VIBE an “artist to watch” has built a strong following for himself via the internet with the help of his breakout single, “Don’t” as well as fan favorites such as “Sorry Not Sorry” & “Been That Way”. This has helped the 22 year-old catch the attention of various music industry heavyweights such as Drake, Timbaland and Travis Scott, who he recently opened up for in Los Angeles, CA at Fonda Theatre.
