June has finally arrived and with it comes a slew of new releases and summer is officially upon us. 2021 seems to be in full swing as more and more artists are bringing us new music. Delve into the list as we bring you some of the best new releases over the week.

Ty Dolla $ign, Jack Harlow and 24kGoldn – I Won

The first track on this list is also the first single from the upcoming Fast and Furious 9 Soundtrack and features Ty Dolla $ign, Jack Harlow, and 24kGoldn. The track is a high-energy pop-rap banger, with the catchy hook delivered by Ty Dolla $ign before Jack Harlow comes through with smooth bars and flows 24kGoldn dropped melodic vocals. The track bodes well for the rest of the soundtrack which is due to release on the 17th of June.


Lil Baby & Lil Durk – How It Feels

Lil Baby and Lil Durk dropped their collaborative album on Friday, trading bars over multiple tracks and featuring Travis Scott, Young Thug, Meek Mill and Rod Wave. On the track in question, the mellow yet intense trap instrumental compliments Lil Baby’s hard-hitting flows before Durk comes through with confidence delivery complete with his wavy vocals.

Arrdee – Oliver Twist

Fresh after the massive success that he had on the “Body Remix” Arrdee has dropped his newest track “Oliver Twist”. Arrdee’s cheeky personality shines through in his confident delivery. The jumpy violin-based instrumental produced by Zel makes for an upbeat drill track as Arrdee continues to show he’s here to stay.

Tion Wayne – Wow

Speaking of the “Body Remix”, Tion Wayne is back on drill with “Wow”. The track is full of crazy bars and references, complete with a not-so-subtle shot at a certain Manchester United defender. Tion’s signature flow and delivery are on full display and with the greazy beat courtesy of CZR, the track stands as one of the week’s catchiest releases.

Kwengface – Tetley

Zone 2’s Kwengface returns with his first solo track in a while with “Tetley”. The South London rapper showcases his signature energy and effortless flow on a hard-hitting instrumental from Bkay. The music video is sleek with wavy transitions and location shots. Full of bars and references as well as infectious energy and a well-made catchy hook, Kwengface continues to show why he’s one of the drill scene’s best artists.

Pa Salieu feat. slowthai – Glidin’

Pa Salieu called upon slowthai for his latest track. The track is a mix of different genres, part alternative rap part afroswing but all the while pulsing with party-driven energy. Pa Salieu conveys his wavey, carefree attitude on the chorus and in his verses before slowthai comes through with his well-known delivery and smooth flows. The trippy, colorful music video perfectly compliments the vibe of the track.

Sleepy Hallow – 4or Daze

Taken from his latest project entitled¬†Still Sleep?¬†Sleepy Hallow brings us this standout track. The mellow guitar-based instrumental compliments Sleepy’s firm delivery as he drops clever introspective yet greazy bars. Sleepy’s ability to make upbeat catchy tracks as well heavier, softer songs is why he’s one of New Yorks’s hottest artists and this track showcases this perfectly.
